We tested the 3000 watt pure sine inverter with several high end sensitive pieces of audio equipment. The inverter never broke power and the smooth output wave allowed the equipment to run continuous and

failure free.

Pure Sine or puresine wave power inverter are made with smoother output wave. Their output waves replicate similar outputs as your standard home outlets. Some brands pure sine wave power inverter tend to have smoother wave then others. Royal Power’s pure sine wave units test at the top of charts as for as how clean their output wave really is. By using a oscilloscope we can see the purity of output current. The interior components are of the highest grade we have seen as well. There we highly recommend their sinewave dc to ac power inverter.

We tested the 1600 watt Bango View DC to AC Power Inverter. Bango View states that this a specially designed for mobile power use, so that is where we took our testing. We installed this 12 volt dc to 120 volt ac power inverter in the rear cabin of Sam’s Smoked Steak Sandwiches food truck. Sam usually uses the a different 1500 Watt DC to AC Power Inverter in his system so the setup was already in place. We would like to offer a special thanks to big Sam for his help. We hope Sam will still talk to use after the poor results he received. The Bango View IN-1600 failed with loads of only 400 watts with battery voltages of close to 14 volts. The only thing this inverter could run was simple battery chargers. The output AC voltage was only about 80-95 volts and with a larger load applied sometimes reached 140 volts. But low and high reading were not consistent with standard north american power levels. (108Volts~122Volts). The interior components were not up to code and we were not impressed.

Mac Power has released this 1200 watt pure sine 12 volt dc to 120 volt ac power inverter that we tested with a couple of different C-PAP breathing machines. The inverter preformed well, we encountered no shutdowns. The pure sine wave was tested and was very smooth, we do not see anyone having any issues operating any delicate equipment with this off grid pure sine power inverter. We did feel that the outer casing design was a little out dated and the upper panel was a little weak. This unit also lacked some of the other features that other manufactures are providing free with their equipment. Such as digital readouts and remote accesses. In all the performance was good though which is the most important test.

This 3000 watt Solartech dc to ac power inverter was only able to power up to 2250 watts before going into failure mode. With failure mode reached at 75% this is only of the lowest preforming dc to ac power inverter we have tested. The industry standard is right at about 88%, so we were very disappointed with this machine.  We attempted to operate a continuous load of 12 amps but the unit blew several fuses after 45 min runtimes. The unit itself is a nice looking unit but thats about it.

This 6000 watt 12 volt dc to 120 volt ac power inverter allows you to input up to 50 amps of ac power. With 50 amps of ac power you can use this power inverter to backup a entire home. If you need a power inverter to operate large equipment in your service truck this might be the unit for you. We found this compact design amazing for an inverter of this size. Must 5000 or 6000 watt dc to ac power inverters are much bulkier then this unit.
We also enjoyed the hardwire option which allows you to wire the ac output directly into your system. This unit is even available with integrated charger and transfer switch. With a power Inverter of this size with charger and auto transfer we finally have a dc to ac power inverter that uses clean battery power and can replace larger gas power generators. If you have a large solar system in place this 50 amp system allows you to take full advantage of all solar power pulled into your battery bank. In fact in any green power system this machine will allow you reduce utility company consumption and reduce utility bills. With a simple 12 volt or 24 volt battery system 120 volt standard power can be available either on the go or off grid at home.

We tested the 12 volt, 24 volt and inverter charger models available in the Royal Power line and all proved to preform above expectations. From interior components to outer durable casing this is well made and well designed machine. The unit was tested with a 45 amp alternating current load for 72 continuous hours and unit kept preforming issue free. We really enjoyed the built in digital monitoring display which kept us advise when to charge the battery bank. This feature is especially useful us you are using your dc to ac power inverter in your service truck and you are periodically using your vehicle alternator to charge to batteries. Instead of just waiting for you inverter to go into fail mode at minimum battery voltage, you can start the engine just before the 10.5 volts is reached to keep battery power at proper levels.
We found the Royal Power customer care team especially helpful when we Inquired about the proper wiring setup in our system. They walked us through our installation and went the extra mile to answer our full array of technical questions.

This Power Express 1000 watt Pure Sine wave power inverter was a nice design, very durable outer casing. After reviewing the interior components the system is well put together but does not seem structured for mobile application. We tested the output wave although we did receive a pure sine wave of electricity it was not as consistent as some other pure sine power inverters. Harmonic distortion levels were ranging between 5-8%. It preforms well at 90% efficiency and has all the standard safety features.

This 24 volt 1500 watt dc to ac power inverter was test with a large array power tools, water pumps, household electronics. It was able to handle a load of 1470 watts, at 98% efficient it really is one of the highest quality power inverter we have tested. Royal Power’s PI-1500 24 volt dc to 120 volt ac power inverter functioned well within its list battery range of 20.5 volts to 30 volts, its no load draw level were very low versus the industry standard. We really consider this unit to be one of the best 24 volt 1500 watt power inverter we have ever tested.

This direct current to alternating current mobile power solution inverter allows you to operate your household electronics on the go. With digital display and 3 input receptacles this dc to ac power inverter has all the options available in larger more expensive power inverters in a more compact less expensive unit.

Royal Power 1500 Watt 24 Volt DC to 120 Volt AC Power Inverter

This 800 watt 12 volt dc to ac power inverter was tested will several small electrical devices. The inverter was able to hand a AC load of 720 watts before failure. We consider a 90% efficiency level average. The inverter has a mounting brackets and and internal cooling fan. We thought the unit was a little over sized for a 800 watt inverter. For small application like ipod charging and battery charging it is a nice unit. If you are looking for something to use with small power tools perhaps a different unit would better meet your needs.
